Cricket batting average and strike rate calculator

Put your season in and get your average, strike rate and runs per innings, worked out properly with not outs handled the way the scorebook does it.

How do you calculate a batting average?

Divide total runs by the number of times you have been dismissed, not by innings. So 400 runs from 14 innings with 3 not outs is 400 divided by 11, an average of 36.36.

How do you calculate strike rate?

Divide runs by balls faced, then multiply by 100. Scoring 45 from 60 balls is a strike rate of 75.00.
